We love hope sunday!

Hi there!
I have the opportunity to pray and spend time with some of the guys from Hope Center every week and we are so blessed to have them as part of our church family.  They faithfully attend Renew and several come two days per week to volunteer their time to clean the church and do additional projects.  One of the projects they did this summer was to redo the parking lot including new sealer and repainting of the parking spaces and curbs.  The labor cost for this project would have been nearly $7000!

This Sunday we are celebrating “Hope Sunday” at Renew!  This is a special service to give you an opportunity to learn about the Hope Center that Renew Church sponsors and meet our leaders and some of our residents! (Also, the Hope Center is hosting a Kickball Game at their residence on Saturday 7/30 at 10:30am-  they will have plenty of food and fun! On another note, begin preparing your heart for our Spiritual Emphasis series at Renew. Unlocked starts on August 7 and we will have 3 nights of worship, Baptism, a daily devotional plan, weekday devotional videos and we are encouraging everyone to participate in our 21 days of prayer and fasting.  Begin preparing your heart now for what you want to see God do in your life during this series and what you can give up during the fast.    

Finally, check out the photo of the book bags we received for our Back 2 School Event on 8/14!  If you know someone that could use some extra help with school supplies- be sure to invite them for this special day!
