Hi there!
We are officially less than a month away from Easter and we could not be more excited about what God is going to do in and through our church during this season. Easter is a powerful reminder of the hope we have because of the resurrection of Jesus, and it’s one of the most meaningful opportunities we have all year to invite others to experience the life-changing message of the gospel.  Our teams have already begun preparing with 4 unforgettable services plus we have egg hunts and a really nice photo booth to get a nice pic of your family to remember this day!  (Plus we will have 2 special Good Friday services at 6P and 7:30P to remember the sacrifice Christ made for us.)

I want to encourage you to begin praying now about who you can invite to join you at Renew for Easter. Think about friends, family members, coworkers, neighbors, or anyone in your life who might need hope, encouragement, or a place to belong. A simple invitation can open the door for someone to encounter Jesus in a new way. Easter services are one of the easiest times for people to say “yes” to church, and your invitation could make an eternal difference.  This Sunday, we will begin praying for the 5 people that you want to see join you on Easter weekend through our “5 for 5” Campaign.

I also want to take a moment to Thank You for your continued faithfulness in giving. Your tithes and offering make everything we do at Renew possible—from serving our community and creating welcoming environments to discipling people and sharing the message of Jesus each week. Your giving fuels the mission and helps us reach more people with hope.  In just the last 2 months we have seen over 100 people make a decision for Christ - not just in our worship services but also including those in RC Kids and Misfit Youth!  We also had 27 baptisms since 2026 started!  That is a record number for Renew Church! 

Additionally, because of your giving, we just gave Hope Center Miami $2000 to help with the Men’s Recovery program!  If you have never given to Renew, now is a great time to make a commitment to help us fulfill our mission of "Leading People to a Renewed Life in Christ!"  CLICK HERE to give to Renew.
Lastly, a quick reminder that Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend! Clocks move forward Saturday night, so we lose an hour of sleep but gain some extra daylight. Be sure to set your clocks ahead so you don’t miss being with us on Sunday morning at 9A, 10:30A, or 12P.

It's hard to believe that Easter is less than 40 days away. This next 6 weeks represent the Lent season in the Christian calendar.   It is a time reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and get our hearts ready for Easter. It’s less about rules and more about creating space to pause, reset, and pay attention to what really matters in our everyday lives. Over these forty days, many people choose small, intentional shifts like giving something up, spending a few extra minutes in prayer, letting go of a distraction, practicing gratitude and being more generous with time and resources.

Growth often happens in simple, consistent moments, and Lent gives us the opportunity to be intentional during those moments. 

The resurrection reminds us that hope, new beginnings, and fresh perspective are always possible, even when life feels like its moving too fast. 

My hope is that Lent helps each of us arrive at Easter feeling refreshed, connected, and ready to celebrate the joy of new life together because of Christ’s death and ultimate resurrection!

As our 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting comes to a close tomorrow, I can’t help but pause and thank God for all He has done during this season. These past three weeks have been a powerful time of refocusing our hearts, quieting distractions, and intentionally seeking God together as a church family. My prayer is that this season has been just as fruitful for you as it has been for me—that you’ve sensed God’s presence more clearly and feel renewed in your faith as we launch into 2026.  Join us for prayer on Saturday from 9-10am as we close out the 21 days together and if you have specific requests - our prayer team would be honored to pray over you.

Does it ever seem that the devil just doesn't stop? This Sunday marks the final message in our “Dialogue with the Devil” series, and it’s one you won’t want to miss. The topic we’re diving into addresses one of the most common and effective tactics the enemy uses against believers. This is a great week to invite a friend and come ready to receive what God wants to say to all of us.

We’re also incredibly excited to celebrate baptisms this weekend—one of the most meaningful moments in the life of our church. This weekend, 5 RC Kids and 6 adults will be taking this important next step in their faith, publicly declaring their decision to follow Jesus. That brings us to 18 baptisms already in 2026, and we are only getting started. Each baptism represents a life changed, a story redeemed, and a reminder that God is actively at work at Renew. Click here if you would like to sign up to get baptized! 

Please continue to be praying for those being baptized—that they would feel encouraged, supported, and confident as they step into this new chapter of obedience and faith.

Lastly, we ask that you join us in praying for our Misfit Youth High School students as they head to Orlando for Rock the Universe. This event brings together Christian students from all across Florida at Universal Studios for an incredible weekend of worship, community, and Christian concerts. Pray for safe travel, meaningful connections, and for God to move powerfully in the hearts of our students as they experience Him in a fresh way.

God is truly working at Renew, and we are so grateful to witness it together. Thank you for being part of what He is doing—let’s continue to move forward with faith, expectation, and gratitude.

PS: We’re heading into the FINAL WEEK of the Ultimate Mario Adventure for RC Kids! 🍄🎮 Kids will watch a special final video inspired by the end of the Mario movie, tying it to the story of David and Goliath—showing that God uses the unlikely to do big things. We’re continuing Week 3 of our Dialogue with the Devil series, where we’re diving deeper into how the enemy tries to twist truth—and how God’s Word calls us to live in freedom and truth with a message I am calling "Shortcuts". 💬 If you missed last week's message you can click to watch it at the bottom of this email.

RC Kids is jumping into Week 3 of Ultimate Mario Adventure 🎮✨
This week, kids will be learning about Identity in Christ through the story of Moses and the Burning Bush, discovering who God says they are and how He calls them by name. Plus, we’ll be having a fun obstacle course your kids are going to love!

Membership
This Sunday afternoon, we will also be hosting a Membership Orientation Class for anyone who is newer to Renew Church or interested in taking a next step. We would love for you to join us at 5:30 PM in the Connections Room. The membership orientation class is a great opportunity to get a closer look at who we are, what we believe, and how Renew functions as a church family.

As an official nonprofit organization, membership is the way regular attenders can formally join the church. Becoming a member means you have the opportunity to vote on important decisions, help elect leadership, and help guide the direction of Renew as we continue to grow in the years ahead.

If you are interested in becoming a member of Renew, we invite you to join us for the Membership Orientation Class at 5:30 PM in the Connections Room.

If you are already a member, please plan to join us for our Annual Members Meeting at 7:00 PM in the Worship Center.

RC Kids Ultimate Mario Adventure 
Ultimate Mario Adventure is happening at RC Kids, and it just got even better! 🎮🍄 Each week, kids jump into a new kingdom packed with fun, engaging Bible lessons, and NERF WARS that bring the adventure to life. It’s the perfect mix of faith, fun, and friendly competition that your kids will love. Missed last week or want a refresher? As we reflect on all that God has done this past year, our hearts are full of gratitude and expectation. This has been a year marked by growth, transformation, and faithfulness—and we believe the best is still ahead.

Celebrating What God Has Done
In 2025, we’ve seen consistent and meaningful impact across our church family and community:

• 352 people attending weekly on average
• 654 in attendance on Easter and 589 at Christmas, two powerful moments of worship and celebration
• 566 first-time guests, each one a reminder that people are still searching for hope
• 278 salvations and 66 baptisms, lives changed forever through the power of Jesus
• 34 students gathering weekly in Misfit Youth, building faith and community
• 39 small groups meeting throughout the year, with over 400 people connecting monthly
• Over 8,000 hours of community service completed in 2025
• An estimated 200 volunteer positions serving every month, faithfully making ministry happen inside and outside the church
  

These numbers represent real people, real stories, and real moments where God moved in powerful ways.

• New Sermon Series: Dialogue with the Devil
  • This thought-provoking series will challenge us to recognize the lies that hold us back and step into the truth and freedom God has for us.
• New Kids Series: Ultimate Mario Adventure
  • Our kids will jump into an action-packed, faith-filled series designed to help them discover God’s power, purpose, and promises in a fun and unforgettable way. Through Mario-inspired games, hands-on crafts, and engaging Bible lessons connected to themes from the movie, kids will learn how to face challenges with courage, trust God as their ultimate hero, and understand that they were created for a purpose. Each week will be packed with excitement, creativity, and meaningful moments that help bring biblical truth to life.
• Birthday Celebration 🎉
  • We’re celebrating another year of God’s faithfulness in a big way—and you’re invited! Join us for a fun-filled birthday celebration for the whole family with a live DJ, cupcakes, a piñata, and plenty of surprises throughout the day. We’ll also share a special baptism moment as we celebrate lives being changed and offer an opportunity for you to take your next step. If you want to be baptized let us know by clicking here!
