Vision Clarity

At Renew Church, it is our heart to renew lives and renew our community.  We do that by helping people to:

• Know God
• Find freedom
• Discover purpose
• And make a difference! 

Knowing God means leading someone that is far from God into a personal relationship with Him.  The truth that I’m learning is that even after a person decides to put their faith in God, they still have challenges to overcome.  In fact, I think when a person becomes a Christian, the Enemy fights even harder to bring them down. 

That is where finding freedom comes in.  It’s important that people find freedom from their past or as I have heard it said before, “People need to settle their yesterdays.”  Finding freedom happens when we can be who we are by connecting with a smaller group of people (“Gatherings”) who will help us deal with the challenges of life.

A renewed life will lead to a renewed community by giving people the opportunity to discover their purpose.  Imagine knowing why God created you and figuring out what on earth you are here for.  We do that through a process we call Growth Track.  I believe once we find and begin to fulfill our purpose… it will make a difference!!  We will be challenged to make a difference by serving in our areas of giftedness that will renew our community in tangible ways!

I hope this helps clarify our vision for Renew Church in Miami and I’m so excited about the launch on January 27, 2019. 

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, He is a new creation.  The old has passed away; behold the new has come.  2 Corinthians 5:17
