The Comeback > Your Setback

Do you believe that?  

I am writing this blog from FLL Airport on my way to NC... it’s my first flight since Covid-19 began.  Its a quick trip to connect with the Compassion Church Network that Renew is a part of; then coming back for Church on Sunday! :)

Although it has been a really tough year for all of us- You could call it a “Setback”...  I still believe the “Comeback is going to be greater than the Setback!”  I don’t know what you are facing right now, but let me remind you- life is worth living and great days are ahead for us!  

This Sunday (in Person and Online), I have invited an amazing couple back to help us conclude the Comeback Series.  Terrence and Emma Mullings are the Pastors of HistoryMakers Church in Pembroke Pines which is launching in January.  

I hope you will join me as we welcome them and encourage them on their church planting endeavor.  Every time I am with them, I am always more encouraged after being with them and I believe you will feel the same way!  

I also want to remind you about our Trunk or Treat on OCTOBER 30 from 7-9pm.  This will be a safe and fun event for the whole family.  We still need people to participate by decorating a Trunk and handing out candy!  Sign up this Sunday or contact Mabel Perez at 786-402-0220 for more info! Bonus: Tiagos Tacos will be selling Tacos! (Masks are required and we will maintain social distancing.)

Finally, we are continuing to make improvements on our new building! We had a Tree Care Company come in and cut/trim several trees around our property, we repaired the flat portions of the roof, we are renovating Kids Classes, sealing the parking lot/replacing parking bumpers, repairing parking lot lights, installing electronic equipment and more!  Come see all the improvements!
