Teen Camp 2022

It’s Pastor Mikey writing to you this week and I hope this email finds you well! 

As many of you know I am the youth pastor of Renew Church and I can’t be more honored to lead our amazing students. One of the many blessings I get to experience as youth pastor is seeing teens come alive in their faith at Teen Camp. 

We live in a time where mental illness is at an all time high, culture becomes more and more toxic by the day, and young people are leaving the church in droves. Teen Camp is starting revival. Its the perfect place for teens to find out who they really are and who they’re really meant to be. It’s a place where healing happens. Where forgiveness takes place. Where friendships are made. Where Jesus reaches a generation. 

At Teen Camp I have seen students not only give their life to Jesus but be delivered from struggles in their life. I’ve seen students apologize and ask for forgiveness to other students they may have hurt. I’ve seen new areas of youth ministry start up because of the fire that is started in Teen Camp. 

We have a goal of sending 50 people to camp this year and raising $15,000 to make it possible. Not only will this $15,000 be able to pay for the registration of 50 people but also a charter bus to get us there. 

June 3rd is our big fundraising event where our teens will host a talent show/dessert and art auction to raise funds for Teen Camp. It will be at Renew Church Miami Campus and will start at 6:30pm. This event is open for anyone who would like to support our teens. We will also be having bake sales after Sunday morning services May 15th, 29th, and June 19th. 

Teen Camp is June 20-24, if you have a teen or know of a teen who would benefit from Teen Camp please reach out to me at (786) 486-2700 and we will talk about making sure your teen gets to Teen Camp.
