power of prayer

Hi there!
Mikey brought a powerful message this past Sunday in week 1 of Slugfest!  Several people responded to the message and we concluded the 2nd service with a time of prayer at the front of the church.  Thank you for letting God use you, Pastor Mikey!  So good!  

We are getting ready for Easter with lots of fun and outreach activities including a SERVE DAY on March 27 at 9am here at the church where we will go into the community and invite our neighbors to Easter.  As I look back at the ways in which I see the church growing over the last 3 months- I have to say, “I think the greatest impact has been the power of prayer”.  I know that having great programs, events and outreach are important- but prayer has been the catalyst for change.  

Paula Freer hosts a 1 hour prayer service on Saturdays at 9am and even when their are only 2-3 people in attendance- we see answers to that prayer the next day during the services.  I can’t overemphasize the importance of prayer.  Whatever you are going through, cover it in prayer… let others join you in agreement and lets watch to see what God does! Consider joining us this Saturday!
