My Personal Hero

Hi there!
I hope you are having a great week!  Last week I preached a message entitled, “My Greatest Villain” and some of you guessed it- my greatest villain is ME!  If you missed it, CLICK HERE to watch last week’s message. 

This Sunday, be sure to invite your Personal Hero to join you as we say ‘Thank You’ for their investment in our lives.  This might be a family member, teacher, neighbor, coach or co-worker- whoever it is- try to get them to Renew this Sunday! I have invited my personal hero that helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life!

Also, sign up this Sunday for our “Trunk or Treat” outreach for the community.  Why do we do Trunk or Treat?  Because we believe that this is a safe and fun alternative to what kids will find in their neighborhoods.  Plus, we use the event to meet our neighbors that might not otherwise attend a service at Renew.  Jesus says in the sermon on the Mount, “You are the light of the world- like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden…. Let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”  By providing an alternative on October 31, we are letting our light shine in the darkness.  If you are interested in decorating your car for the trunk or treat, please see Misty Pound on Sunday or email her at mistypound@gmail.com.  Thanks!

Don't miss Infinity Wars in RC Kids! Each week we will be battling boys. vs. girls to see who can get the most points! Some ways the kids can get points is by attending, bringing friends, memorizing the verse, and winning the games!
