Key word.

Hey Everyone!

The key word for this blog is PRAY.  We have been praying and fasting for the last three weeks and it leads up to our Birthday on January 26 (this Sunday!).  

Please pray for all the events of the day including tacos, T-shirts, Birthday Cake and the Bounce house for the kids.  

Beyond the fun, pray also for those that are considering taking a step towards Baptism.  There are some people in our church that are wrestling with this decision and if you are one of those- I am praying for you!  Its one of the best decisions you will ever make. In this post is a video from Lazaro sharing a little bit of his story as it relates to being one of the first people baptized at Renew!

Please pray for the Holy Spirit to work in hearts on Sunday, I have a message that I have been working on for quite some time as we begin our “Stress Less” series and I am praying that it will have an impact on everyone in attendance.

Finally, pray for all of the people that we have invited through community outreaches, social media, mailers and personal invitations.  If you want to jump in on our community outreach, join us this Saturday at 9:30am at the Chevron Station on SW 152nd St. and SW 137 Ave. as we give away free gas to people in our community! (Please park in the Sedano’s shopping center!)
