Honor: Teachers are A+Mazing!

Hi there!

We begin our Honor series with a powerful reminder from the last 14 months - that teachers are amazing! I’ve watched my daughter going to High School on Zoom and wonder how her teachers deal with 20+ students not sharing their screen and I often wonder if the kids are even paying attention. Yet they do it for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

We have a special message this week that is sure to inspire you and remind you why we need to honor people- especially our educators! 

Here are a few reasons why we are doing Teacher Sunday this weekend:
 
-Many teachers don’t get a lunch hour.
-Teachers take orders from people who spend little to no time in a classroom.
-Teachers spend 180+ days with our kids!
-A teacher’s performance is based on their students’ scores.   
-Parents don’t always give them the respect they deserve for the investment they make into our kids.
-Teaching is the only profession where you physically can’t go to the bathroom when you need to.  
-Finally, teachers impact all other professions!  

Please invite a teacher to Renew Church this weekend.  We have a special gift for them and we want them to know how much they are appreciated!
