God KNows.

​I want to thank everyone that prayed for me over the last week. If you read last week’s post, I shared about some anxiety that I was feeling and I couldn’t exactly say why I was having it. It was like I was having trouble catching my breath and there was this dark cloud hanging over me.

I wrote that post on Thursday before taking my family on a one day trip to Orlando. Getting away helped some but I was still struggling. Then, on the way home from Orlando, I got an email from a company that works with ARC (the church planting organization that Renew Church is part of) and they had an extra ticket to the ARC Conference in Birmingham (it was sold out). I took them up on the ticket, bought my flight and on Tuesday morning I was in Birmingham for a powerful two days of worship, connecting with other church planters and hearing impactful messages from some powerful preachers.

Maybe this won’t make sense to you, but I just have to thank God for what I was feeling last week. If I had not felt it, I would not have gone to Birmingham. God knew I needed it and looking back- its almost like the whole thing was set up just for me.

I would love to see you Sunday at 10:30am at Renew Church!  We will also be holding a special Good Friday Service on April 19 at 7:30pm at Renew Church at Norma Butler Bossard Elementary.
