Making a Difference

One of the families from Norma Butler Bossard that we were able to give frozen chicken and a $50 Wal Mart Gift Card to help during COVID-19.

I want to take a moment in this weeks post to share how honored I am to be your Pastor. I am preaching a series entitled, “Church is Not a Building” and you are helping me prove that through the ways in which we are impacting our community! 

Here are some of those ways:

-We helped  a single parent after recently being laid off 

-We gave to a family that was behind on their mortgage due to a significant slow down at work. 

-We gave to another local church planter that has seen his financial support decline due to Covid-19. 

-We purchased 28 Wal Mart Gift Cards ($50 each) for families we know that are struggling during this time.
 
-We purchased 900 pounds of frozen chicken to help people in our city that are struggling (500 pounds we gave away and 400 we purchased for another local compassionate ministry center in Healeah.) We still have about 50 pounds of chicken left- if you or someone you know could use the help- let me know!

It’s an honor to be your pastor and I want to know your giving matters!  I pray that God will bless you for your faithfulness in supporting Renew Church as he has blessed us to be part of impacting our city!
