Easter is 4 weeks away!

How are you? I hope you had a great week! We are doing well, my mom left on Thursday morning. My girls are sad but they had a great time while she was here!

Last weekend, some of our leaders went with me to Virginia to tour a couple of Hope Centers (stay tuned for this life changing ministry that we hope to bring to Miami!) and to finalize some of our plans for Easter.  When we got back to Florida, our church received an unexpected financial gift to help us have the biggest Easter we have ever had! Obviously, we didn’t have a normal Easter in 2020- so 2019 was the only “normal” Easter Sunday that we have had at Renew Church!  Looking back, it was an amazing day!  There were 265 people in attendance, a super fun egg hunt, prizes, baptisms and more!  

This year, we are gearing up for an even bigger Easter!  We are starting with a powerful Good Friday experience called, “Journey to the Cross” where we take you through an experience of what Christ endured for us.  

On Easter Sunday, we are planning for 2 services and our goal is to have 300 people at Renew that day (with social distancing).  Renew Church sits on 5 beautiful acres in Southwest Miami.  With that being said, part of the financial support that we received will allow us to host 2 Huge Egg Hunts (10,000 Eggs), an outdoor petting zoo and we will be giving away some cool prizes (we are working on a Helicopter Egg Drop- more details to come!)  

Ephesians 3:20 reminds me that God is able to do “immeasurably more” than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.  I love that because I have a pretty big imagination and I am believing God for something awesome to happen for His Kingdom and yet…He can do IMMEASURABLY MORE! 

How you can help:

PRAY. Pray for the people that God is laying on your heart that need to hear the life changing message that Jesus is Risen! 

INVITE.  As you pray, look for opportunities to tell a friend to join you and bring their family for this exciting day.

PARTICIPATE.  We are working hard to promote with community outreaches, social media, hiding eggs, decorating, passing out flyers and more.  We would love to see everyone play a part in reaching our city!
