Then and now

Hi there!
When we first began the process of planting Renew, we took our girls out of private school and transitioned to Homeschool.  Macey was in 3rd and Emily in 8th Grade.  

It was a big change in our life but there was many good things that came from it.  One of those good things was a more flexible schedule.  We got a weekday annual pass to Disney and almost every month we would drive to Orlando on Thursday night and wake up to go to a Disney park on Friday and then head back that evening. It was like a 24 hour vacation! Those were some amazing memories- some that we miss today especially now that Emily is away to college.  

This week Emily has been home for Spring Break so we “relived” that memory.  We drove up on Wednesday evening and went to Magic Kingdom all day Thursday and drove home last night.  I forgot how exhausting that is!  (I must be getting old! :)

Anyway, it was a great trip and I’m thankful to God for good memories and an amazing family!
