Get Ready!

HI THERE!

The next few weeks are a really exciting time in the life our Church. These are weeks to “Get Ready” for all God is doing!

Pastor Ricardo and the leadership at our Homestead campus made the very significant decision to unite the Homestead Campus with our Miami Campus. There were several reasons but the main reason we felt was due to the location we were in did not provide the needed space for growth in the years ahead. There were several other churches using the same facility and that can make doing ministry challenging. We looked to other locations but unfortunately the doors didn’t open and we knew that this needed to happen before school began for the smoothest transition.

With that being said, we are so excited to welcome the Homestead congregation as they unite with our Miami campus at 9:30 and 11am beginning on August 3rd! I’m believing its going to be a beautiful union of 2 campuses coming together as one! WELCOME HOMESTEAD CAMPUS!!

I also want to encourage you to “Get Ready” for Back To School Sunday on August 3rd! This is a great outreach opportunity for our church and we would love to bless many students with backpacks, school supplies and free haircuts! Be sure to share on social media and hand out invites this week!!

Finally, “Get Ready” for our 21 days of prayer on August 3-23. We will be incorporating a prayer wall, a 21 day challenge with weekly emails on how to pray during this season and a Night of Worship. The new sermon series for next month is called, “Frequency” and it will focus on tuning into to the voice of God.

A Beautiful Day of Baptism + What’s Coming Up at Renew

Hi there!

This past weekend was one for the books! 🌊 We gathered at the beach to celebrate the powerful step of baptism, and it was nothing short of incredible. Seeing so many people publicly declare their faith in Jesus was a reminder of why we do what we do. If you missed it, be sure to check out the photos—each one captures a moment of transformation and new life. Congratulations to everyone who took that bold step of faith. We’re celebrating with you!

As we look ahead, we’re thrilled for what’s next. Starting August 3rd, we’ll be uniting our Homestead and Miami campuses for Back to School Sunday and kicking off 21 Days of Prayer. This is a special season for our church—one filled with expectation, prayer, and unity as we seek God together.
We truly believe the best is yet to come. Let’s lean in, show up, and believe for more in this next chapter at Renew Church.

Hi There!
We came back from a 3 day Vision retreat in Orlando last week with our Directors and I am believing God for great things!

We have some ambitious goals for this next 12 months and I truly believe we are on track to accomplish everything we feel God has set before us!

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Beach Baptism Location Change
We are now up to 20 people that plan to be baptized at the beach in Key Biscayne this Saturday!  Its going to be an amazing morning!

With that being said, we had to MOVE OUR LOCATION due to some beach regulations at our original location.

We are moving the baptism to Bill Baggs Park (El Farito)  Pavilion A2.  This will accommodate a larger crowd and we have a pavilion that we can use for the picnic after.  We’d love for you to join us for a couple of hours as we celebrate the 20 people taking this big step. After the baptism, we’ll swim and share a meal together! We will provide drinks but please plan to bring your own food for the picnic.  Please be sure to help us spread the word of the new Location!  1200 Crandon Blvd.  Key Biscayne 33149 (Pavilion A2).  Also, please note there is an $8 parking fee.

Our vision for this next season is clear and our commitment is unwavering. With your help, we will continue to take hope and life to those in need of a Savior. We are believing God for marriages restored, families reunited, addictions broken, and people healed.

New Series Alert + Beach Baptisms!

Hi there!
This week, our directors got together to pray, plan, and dream about the future of Renew—and we’re so excited for what’s ahead. We talked about how we’re growing as a church and how we can keep creating spaces where people feel connected, supported, and challenged to grow in their faith. There’s so much momentum right now, and we really believe God is setting us up for something special in this next season. We can’t wait to keep building with all of you!

NEW SERIES: HEARING VOICES
This summer at Renew, we’re turning up the volume on the voices that matter most.

We all hear different voices every day—some encouraging, some distracting, and others that pull us in all directions. But which ones are truly shaping us? This July, we’re launching a new series called “Hearing Voices”, and it’s all about tuning in to the ones that point us back to Jesus.

Each Sunday, we’re welcoming a powerful lineup of guest speakers—pastors, leaders, and friends of Renew—who will each bring a fresh, Spirit-filled message. They may come from different backgrounds, but their words will echo the same truth: Jesus.

On Sunday, July 13th you won’t want to miss our Misfit Takeover—when our youth ministry will take over the entire service! Our students will be leading in worship, sharing testimonies, and even preaching the Word. It’s a glimpse into the next generation of faith, and trust us—it’s going to be powerful, fun, and full of heart.

This Sunday at our Miami Campus, Pastor Corey Farver from One Name Church is our special guest and he will be sharing a message entitled, "Speak to your Mountain". Don't miss a week and invite a friend! Come ready to listen, lean in, and grow through the voices God is using to shape His Church.

BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVE
This Sunday at Renew, we’re continuing our Back to School Supply Drive to support local students—and we’d love for you to join in! Just grab a ziplock bag from the lobby, follow the included supply list, and return it filled. It’s a simple way to make a big impact. We’re collecting bags through July 27, and every donation helps a child start the school year strong.

BEACH BAPTISM
Mark your calendar--Saturday, July 12 is a special day for our church family!

We’re headed to the Crandon Park on Key Biscayne for baptisms and a picnic at 9:30A! If you've been thinking about taking your next step in faith, this is the perfect opportunity. There’s nothing like celebrating life change together!

Back to School Supply Drive

Hi there!
This Sunday at Renew, we're excited to launch our Back to School Supply Drive —and we’d love for you to be a part of it! As a church, we want to come alongside families in our community and help ease the burden that often comes with the start of a new school year.

Here’s how it works: in the lobby, you’ll find ziplock bags available for pick-up. Each bag includes a printed supply list with all the items needed to fill it—things like pencils, notebooks, crayons, folders, and more. It’s simple and practical, but also deeply impactful. Just take a bag, shop during the week, and bring it back filled by July 17th.

Our goal is to collect as many as possible to support students in need across our area. Whether you’re able to fill one bag or several, every contribution helps ensure a child starts the school year with confidence and the right tools in hand.

Misfit Youth Teen Camp

Hi there!

This week, our Misfit Youth students have been away at camp, and it has been nothing short of powerful. With 34 attending, we’ve watched as God has met them in real and personal ways. From worship to small group moments, they are leaning in and encountering His presence.

Beyond the spiritual impact, our students are also building deep friendships—laughing over games, swimming in the lake, and simply enjoying time together. Many are experiencing breakthrough, freedom, and a renewed sense of identity in Christ. It’s clear that God is at work, and we can’t wait to see how these moments shape the future of our youth.

Check out part of this testimony from Aaliyah:
"I left to camp with a heavy heart and struggling with old habits, I’ve been to camp twice before so I knew it was going to be powerful. I just didn’t expect the calling that God had for me that week. I’ve always struggled with understanding my calling and what God wants me to do for His kingdom. I’ve recently found myself having a passion for evangalism and I have also seen myself becoming more curious about mission trips. I always ask God “why me” because I don’t feel worthy enough and constantly felt like I was going to forever lack the knowledge I needed for my calling. On Tuesday while playing boomstick we went up against the yellow team and on that team there was a kid that had disabilities and we let him play. That moment touched my heart and since that day I felt like God was calling me to pray over him. I was confused and hesitant because I knew I was gonna be put in a new and uncomfortable situation that I’m not used to. I continued to pray and I spoke to 2 leaders about it and they encouraged me to listen and obey Gods call. I knew that if I decided to be disobedient I was going to deeply regret and be mad at myself so I decided to take a step of faith. Wednesday night service it felt like Pastor Jake was speaking directly to me, he talked about how we need to obey Gods calling even if it may feel scary and uncomfortable because God is going to do amazing things with that calling. I started to feel really anxious because I knew deep down in my spirit God chose me for that specific calling and was talking directly through Jake to me. But I needed to say yes to God and saying yes to God looks like doing things that you maybe might not want to do. During closing worship I went down to the altar and just asked God how and when he wanted me to do this. In that moment I just felt the Holy Spirit telling me to get up and pray over him in that very moment, so I did. I went up to his team and talked to who I thought was his youth leader or youth pastor, and asked if it was okay to pray for him and then asked his friends to lay a hand on him while I prayed. While I was praying I felt God talking through me, I was so worried about not saying the right things but God showed me that He is my strength. I just felt so much peace and relief after. It was an indescribable feeling…So take this as your sign to answer God's calling because it won’t only impact others but it will also have an impact on you."

God is doing amazing things this Summer at Renew! We have had the privilege and opportunity to bless people in our community and around the world. Check out what's been happening this summer:

SUMMER BREAKS
We hosted a fun summer water day where kids splashed and played! While they enjoyed games and laughter, moms were able to enjoy a well-deserved break. It was a joyful day that brought families and our church community closer together. We're grateful for the impact your support makes at Renew!

IT MATTERS
We were able to support It Matters Ministries, which is the ministry of Kennedy Pound who served as our Kids Director in 2021, and their incredible after-school program in Belize. Your giving helped provide resources for children to grow both academically and spiritually—giving them access to reading and writing education, all within a Christ-centered environment. Each gift contributed to building a stronger foundation for their future and sharing the life-changing hope of Jesus. Lives are being impacted every day, thanks to your continued support.

FATHERS DAY AT RENEW
This Father’s Day, we’re celebrating all the dads with something sweet and a little silly—join us Sunday at 9:30A & 11A for Dad Jokes, Donuts, and Cokes! It’s a fun way to honor the men who’ve made us laugh, led us well, and loved us big. Come early, grab a donut and a Coke, and enjoy some lighthearted fun before service. You won’t want to miss this special day at Renew!

RC Kids & Mom Summer Breaks

Summer Breaks: Join us this summer for some summer break fun for moms and kids alike. While the kids are having fun in RC Kids, mom's will have their own breaks in our Connections Room with new themes and activities for each meeting. Men's Ministry

Men's BBQ Pit-Luck THIS Saturday June 7th. Bring your meats and sides and join us for this one of a kind event. Grills go on at 10am, eating will begin around 12pm. Sign Up and let us know you're coming and what you're bringing.

We’re launching a brand new teaching series through the New Testament book of Ephesians. We will be diving deep into this powerful six-chapter letter, and I can’t wait to walk through it with you. It’s full of encouragement and truth about who you are in Christ—and I truly believe it will inspire and strengthen your faith.

A Memorable Weekend!

Hi there!
This Sunday is shaping up to be a memorable service and we’d love for you to be there with us! We’re closing out our series, “Winning the War in Your Mind” and the final message will challenge and encourage you to take your thoughts captive and walk in the truth of who God says you are.  If this series has spoken to you, invite someone who needs to hear it too!

We’re also celebrating Baptism this Sunday—one of the most powerful moments in the life of our church. Watching people publicly declare their faith and new life in Jesus never gets old. Let’s show up and celebrate big!  If you have not been baptized and you want to take that step of faith- click this link for more information and to fill out the baptism form and we will get back to you!

Finally, we’ll be taking time during the service to honor Memorial Day, pausing to remember and give thanks for the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
