Misfit Youth fundraiser

Hi there!
If you need proof of God's faithfulness look no further than last Fridays Misfit Fundraiser. The goal was to raise $15k to help with camp costs and fund future Misfit events/outreaches. If we’re honest even we felt like the goal was a little lofty and were going to be content with whatever we got. Our kids did a great job displaying their talents and serving guests, the auction was humming along and the night was turning out to be a pleasant one but we were not near our goal. As the last auction item was being sold we were all faced with the seeming realization that we didn’t hit our goal. At that point we had raised a little over $9k and we were truly blessed by it, even though that was not the goal. As we get ready to thank everyone and dismiss everyone we received the news that an anonymous donor had pledged to match whatever we had raised that night. In a second, a little over $9k turned into a little over $18k. God is faithful. We were speechless, just in awe and shock of what just happened and how God takes our plans and does more than we can imagine in the most unique ways. Thank you to all of our donors for supporting Misfit Youth and believing in the next generation. Needless to say the night was a success and we are so excited to see what God will continue to do through this ministry and His people.
