Living out our Core Values

Hi there!
We are really excited about some of the things happening at Renew Church in the coming weeks.  We try to make sure that everything we do lines up with our Core Values at Renew Church.  Here are some of the things coming up that I would love for you to get involved in.

One of our Core Values is “We pursue the Next Generation”.  That is being lived out in our Child Dedication ceremony that will take place this weekend. Child Dedication is an opportunity to invite others to develop and influence your child as they grow into their faith. You're choosing to make decisions that honor God like finding trusted relationships in a small group modeling what it looks like to be plugged into the church through serving and showing your kids an example of what a godly life looks like. It's setting the foundation that your family will be known for following Christ. If you feel that this is the next step for your children, you can register to participate this Sunday.

Also, Misfit Youth is hosting Color Wars this Saturday and they have invited three other Youth Groups to participate in this crazy outdoor competition.  If you have a student that you would like to bring out for the event- please reach out to Pastor Mikey at 786-486-2700. If you would like to come out and support our students, please join us Saturday anytime from 10am - 3pm.

Finally, we are planning a Serve Day on May 7 to live out our Core Value of “Loving our City” right after the last service at each campus.  We are collecting nonperishable foods over the next few weeks to bless families in need- please bring these items between now and May 7.  In addition, we are working on a few projects to help families from both our Homestead and Miami campuses with things that they are in need of- this might include projects like landscaping, repairs, or other projects that will be a blessing to them.  I hope you will make plans to join us for this!  Come to church and then stay to serve!!
