This is going to be a great weekend at Renew Church!

I am so excited about what God is doing in our church and this week will be no exception!  In the morning services, Pastor Josh Hannah will be our guest speaker.  Josh Hannah lives in Oklahoma City,  where he serves as the President and Founder of Hope Center Ministries and Compassion Network. He and his wife Jessica have been married for 23 years and have five children—Kara, Rylee, Jordan, Finn, and Wyatt. In 2001, Josh became the pastor of a 60-person rural church, in a city of less than 4,000 people. During his time as Lead Pastor, the church grew to 800 people on any given weekend. Over the next few years, feeling that God wanted to reach more people, Josh pressed forward with a new vision and began adding multiple sites, becoming a multi-site congregation of 2,000+ people in five locations. All of this progress would come to his ultimate vision in August 2016, when he would step down as Lead Pastor of Compassion Church in order to establish the Compassion Network. Through Compassion, Josh began consulting and coaching local pastors on how to produce healthy, growing, multiplying churches.

While pastoring a growing church, Josh recognized a need within his community for a drug and alcohol recovery center, a place where addicts could find hope. In 2007, Hope Center Ministries (HCM) was established. HCM is a twelve-month, in-house, discipleship-based recovery program for men and women who struggle with alcohol and drug addiction. To date, HCM has 49 locations housing over 1,200 individuals.  As you know, we have one of these centers and we are looking ahead to launching a 2nd location in the near future.  Renew Church is also part of the Compassion Network and Pastor Josh has been consulting our team since we met in 2020.  Invite a friend to join you and hear a word from Pastor Josh!

Also on Sunday night at 6:30pm, we are hosting our Renew Crew Friendsgiving at the Miami Campus!  If you serve on any team, we invite you to join us for a potluck dinner together!  Please bring your appetite and 1-2 dishes to share!  

Attention Men! We have a free Men’s Breakfast this Saturday at our Miami Campus from 8:30-10am.  All you have to bring is yourself for some great food, fellowship and an inspiring word from Pastor Mike Gault from First Priority!
