Do you skip Thanksgiving?

Hi there!
You have probably seen the memes and other social media posts about how when Halloween is over, Christmas is here.  Although I don’t agree, my wife and daughters outvote me pretty much every year and the Christmas decorations start showing up!  I’m not a scrooge- I just want to fully savor the Thanksgiving season!  And in their defense, they love Thanksgiving- they just love Christmas more! :) No matter where you stand on this important issue, I do know that Christmas will be here before you know it!!  Christmas is less than 8 weeks away and our Christmas program is 7 weeks away on December 16 & 17!  

We have a really exciting Christmas program at both campuses that will be taking place and we would love to have volunteers to make this an amazing event.  There is a place for everyone- even if you don’t want to be on stage! If you would like to get involved, be sure to connect with our Program Directors from each campus. Feel free to contact them or simply come up to them at church on Sunday.

On another note, join us this weekend for Communion Sunday as we kick off our new series, “Beyond Blessed” and check out some pics below from last weekend’s baptism!  Congratulations to everyone that took this amazing step in their spiritual journey! Also, if you need prayer, our prayer team is inviting you this Saturday at 9:45am for them to pray for whatever you might be facing.

“Is anyone among you in trouble? Let them pray. Is anyone happy? Let them sing songs of praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” James‬ ‭5‬:‭13‬-‭15‬ ‭
