A few people have been asking...

Hi there!
A few people have been asking me about the ministries at Renew Church and so I wanted to give our Directors a chance to share why their ministry exists and the impact it has on our church.  
Here is some of what they said: 

Worship: We start with Worship! This is not only a core value of Renew Church, it is the posture of our hearts. Bringing praise and worship to our God and coming together as one to lift up His name! Homestead and Miami Campus - Director: Stephanie Santos

RC Kids: Kids ministry aims at guiding our children to learn & follow Jesus Christ all while having fun! We teach our children through Bible centered videos, creating crafts & playing group games. Homestead Campus - Director: Magda Ortiz; Miami Campus - Director: Yandria Bermudez 

Misfit Youth: Misfit Youth is all about mentoring and engaging our teens into a lifelong relationship with Jesus that will have an impact not only on themselves but those they come in contact with. Director: Mikey Bermudez

Connections: Our connections team, is involved with our guests from the street to the seat. Here at Renew Church, we want our guests to experience God’s love at all times. This is why it starts with a welcoming environment, from signs out on the street, greeters in our lobby, ushers making a way for our guests in the worship center, to a follow up call from someone on our team. We offer Growth Track once a month at Renew, it is a 40 minute session which will help know more about Renew, and also help you identify your skills, talents and gifts and how you can join us in advancing the Kingdom of God here at Renew and our community. Production: In times past, we as a people, had less noise in our lives. With the advent of the internet, social media and today’s technological advancements, there is a battle to compete with the attention and focus of the people around us. Those people are His people.  The production department at Renew Church takes on the task of leveraging today’s technology to create and maintain an atmosphere where people can meet, hear, learn about and foster a true and transformational relationship with Jesus.  Through our passion for technology/media and delivery of it, we are able to reach exponentially more people than ever before, in history, making Production a crucial part of fulfilling God’s Great Commission. Small Groups: Exists to help foster our pillar of Discipleship and encourage our church to become a family as they learn and grow together. These groups provide community,  prayer support, encouragement,  and accountability to its members. We would love for everyone at Renew to be connected to a small group. Director: Jessica May

Hope Center: Did you know that 1 person dies every 5 minutes from a drug overdose?  Hope Center exists to lead addicts and their families to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Director: Javier Morejon
